Taking shelter in a shack of a building, as the fierce sand storm raged on outside. It did not hold such fury that one could no travel in it, but it was still to much for the small, young wolf dog, who now lay curled in a corner of the building. It had been a long journey, but such was her whole life. A hard, cold, tiring, old dream. At least, now, it seem the worse of the nightmare was over, for she was away from the place, and out in the world, but she merely traveled like in a dream. No longer feeling or seeing the things around her. An empty shell. Just waiting for something to end this exhausting long slumber, and wake her up.
Her ears danced around, causing the name tag to dangle along, as she listen to the wind begun to die down, the the grains of sand ceasing it's rage on the weak walls of her resting place. Tasting the air, and focusing her clear blue eyes on the empty door way, she could see the sun fleeting with the sand. Up she went, her shoulders slowly rising as she raised her stomach from the dirt floor. She did not understand why she continue to travel. Maybe, it was her mother's blood in her. The wolf longing to roam. Or maybe, it was all she had. Regardless of the meaning, she shuffle across the ground, and step once more into the night, feeling the now cold sand beneath her feet. The moon illuminated her white coat as she cross the sea of blue gravel
